#Nuvofoodies at a Persian food festival that set new standards

Renaissance Mumbai Convention Hotel hosted a ten-day Persian Food Festival at Nawab Saheb. The festival had guest chefs from Iran cooking a storm in the kitchen to bring alive authentic flavors.

The ambiance, the serving staff, the dessert station – all spoke Persian for those ten days. It was a brilliant amalgamation of regional cuisine, whilst also keeping in mind the audience profile in the city. The meal was served as a set menu for vegetarians, non-vegetarians – seafood as an option, or a mix and match – combination of both veg and non-veg, at a fixed price. Every few days there were new additions or changes to the menu as well.

It definitely impressed our #foodie guests that evening with – kooks sabzi; tandoori fal; broccoli tanoor; abandon falafel; kalam pula shirazi; Mirza ghasemi; desserts were Ras Malai to Jamoon, Mal Poha and many other Indian desserts

Indeed a brilliant recount by our foodies on the festival:

Amisha Ranka & Dhruv Shah; Deepa Dutta Chaudhuri; Ginni SharmaMrugank Desai; Ritika Betala; Renu UbaleRupa Iyer

The festival was also listed on FoodthisWeek
